Our Team

Jay Warner, PT, DPT

Jay received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercises Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014 where he also had the privilege of competing on the swim team for 4 years, learning the value of hard work and perseverance. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin in 2018 and has been working in the outpatient/sport setting for the past 5+ years with a growing interest in biomechanics and how movement and patterns impact function.

Jay is currently pursuing further education through the Postural Restoration Institute where he is learning to explore the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles. His passion is to decrease pain and improve function through specific biomechanical changes tailored to each individual patient, beginning with the basics and progressing through to higher level activities and exercises based on desired goals of each person.

In his free time, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife Courtney, newborn son Tripp, and little Frenchie Ziva. He has developed a passion for triathlons now so is often rolling through the many trails of White Rock on the weekends. He is always up for a round of golf, a hike through the “hills” of Texas, or reading a good book at home.

Courtney Warner, PT, DPT

Courtney discovered her love for physical therapy in middle school when she overcame an injury with the guidance of physical therapy. Dr. Warner earned her Bachelor of Science from Baylor University with a Pre-Physical Therapy focus. She later achieved her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX graduating with Highest Honors.

Courtney has worked in two outpatient orthopedic and general clinics since graduating and knew the traditional clinic was not the right fit for her. Courtney has continued growing her knowledge with the Postural Restoration Institute to better treat her patients by understanding the body more as a whole and how everything works together. Courtney is passionate about treating patients holistically and building strong relationships.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband Jay, and little frenchie Ziva. She is excitedly preparing for their newborn expected Dec 2023! Courtney loves trying new restaurants and coffee shops as well as spending time hiking, playing pickleball or working out. She also has a passion for nutrition and how it can better support the body and its ability to move.
